Victoria Rodriguez and Sophia Rodriguez of Mercer Island High in Washington join DyeStat's Keenan Gray to talk about an exciting weekend of racing at the Nike Hole in the Wall Invitational at Lakewood High in Arlington, Wash. and what they both bring to the table for the girls elite race. The Rodriguez sisters moved to Washington from Pennsylvania in August after their father received a job offer from Brooks and both of them reflect on how the move has been over the last couple of months and how important it was for them to join the Mercer Island cross country team upon starting at a new school. Sophia recently won The Mook Invitational on Sept. 23 in Tillamook, Ore. in a time of 16:49.8 for the 5-kilometer course, with Victoria finishing second in 17:03.
