Ashlyn Boothby, a Stanford-bound senior at Scotts Valley High in California, won the fastest section of the girls 800 meters in 2:14.70 at the Dublin Distance Fiesta at Dublin High in California. Boothby became the only athlete in meet history to secure championship sombreros in the 800, 1,600 and 3,200 at Dublin during her prep career, following victories in the 1,600 and 3,200 last season.
