Grace Sloan, a senior at Rocklin High in California, won the girls triple jump competition at the Stanford Invitational at Cobb Track and Angell Field in Palo Alto, Calif. Sloan and Hannah Vincent of Hollister High both jumped 36-11.50 (11.26m), but Sloan prevailed based on a better second effort at 36-10.50 (11.24m). Sloan also cleared 10-6 (3.20m) to place 11th in the girls pole vault competition.
