Houston Klug from North Medford OR won the high jump at 6-8 and took three attempts at a school record height of 6-10.25 on Saturday at the Oregon Relays. Klug relates to the high jumping legacy of North Medford alum Dick Fosbury, who invented the Fosbury Flop and won the Mexico City Olympic Games gold medal in 1968. Fosbury died in 2023.
