McKay Madsen, a junior at Clovis North High in California, won the boys invitational discus throw with a fifth-round effort of 183-3 (55.85m) at the 64th Mt. SAC Relays Presented by Nike at Hilmer Lodge Stadium in Walnut, Calif. Madsen also placed second in the invitational shot put with a fourth-round mark of 58-11.50 (17.97m).
