Doris Lemngole, a freshman at Alabama representing Kenya, won the women's 3,000-meter steeplechase title by clocking both meet and facility records with a 9:28.21 effort at the Southeastern Conference Championships at Percy Beard Track in Gainesville, Fla. Lemngole also placed second in the 5,000-meter final in 15:25.86 for the Crimson Tide.
