Denis Kipngetich, Adisu Guadia and Alex Maier 2nd, 10th and 11th Place Men's 10,000m - NCAA D1 West Outdoor Preliminary Round 2024

Oklahoma State freshmen Denis Kipngetich and Adisu Guadia, along with fifth-year senior Alex Maier, all advanced to the NCAA Division 1 championship race in the 10,000 meters following their performances at the West Regional at John McDonnell Field in Fayetteville, Ark. Kipngetich, representing Kenya, placed second in 28:27.68, with Israeli competitor Guadia finishing 10th in 28:44.16 and Maier securing 11th in 28:45.19. It marked the first time in program history that Oklahoma State had three male athletes advance to the Division 1 final in the 10,000.
