Gracie Hyde, a graduate student-athlete at Adams State, won the women's 1,500-meter title in 4:16.80 at the NCAA Division 2 Championships at Francis G. Welch Stadium at Emporia State University in Kansas. Hyde became the fifth different female competitor in Adams State history to capture the 1,500 crown, following titles by Irish athlete Stephanie Cotter in 2019 and 2021. She also secured the 3,000-meter steeplechase championship to contribute to the Grizzlies finishing second as a team with 72 points.
