Carrie VanNoy, Morgan Roundtree, Nevaeh Burns and Kylee King led Motor City Track Club, featuring athletes from Oak Park High, to a Michigan state record 3:54.95 in the girls 1,600-meter sprint medley relay at New Balance Nationals Outdoor at Franklin Field in Philadelphia. King and Roundtree were both members of the lineup for Motor City that captured the 1,600 sprint medley relay crown in 2021 at The Outdoor Nationals Presented by Nike at Hayward Field. The performance by Oak Park was the fastest by any girls high school quartet nationally since 2017 and ranks No. 18 all-time among U.S. prep 1,600 sprint medley relays.
