Yuliya Maslouskaya, a junior at IMG Academy from Belarus, placed second in the girls heptathlon competition with 4,992 points at New Balance Nationals Outdoor at Franklin Field in Philadelphia. Maslouskaya, who achieved a score of 5,019 points this year, prevailed in the high jump with a third-attempt clearance at 5-7.75 (1.72m) and also triumphed in the long jump with a wind-legal effort of 18-9.75 (5.73m) in the opening round. Maslouskaya won the New Balance Nationals Indoor pentathlon championship in March in Boston with 3,627 points.
