Adams State seniors Roisin Flanagan and Eilish Flanagan finished ninth and 11th in the top section of the women's 5,000 meters at the Sound Running Track Meet, both eclipsing the program record, as well as both running faster than the previous all-time mark for Northern Ireland. Roisin Flanagan improved to No. 2 all-time in NCAA Division 2 history by clocking 15:38.27 and Eilish Flanagan elevated to No. 4 at 15:40.14. The previous Adams State record was 15:53.45 by Mirsada Buric-Adams in 1995 and the old Northern Ireland standard was 15:50.55 by Emma Mitchell in 2017.
