UCLA sophomore Alyssa Wilson was selected female athlete of the meet at the Pac-12 Outdoor Championships after winning the discus throw and placing second in both the hammer throw and shot put at Roy P. Drachman Stadium in Tucson, Ariz. Wilson prevailed in the discus with a first-round throw of 186-9 (56.93m), becoming the first Bruins female athlete to win the title since 2005, along with a sixth-round mark of 222-4 (67.78m) in the hammer throw and fifth-round effort of 55-9.25 (17.00m) in the shot put.
