Colorado fifth-year senior Sage Hurta won the women's mile in a personal-best 4:30.58 at the NCAA Division 1 Indoor Championships at Randal Tyson Track Center in Fayetteville, Ark. Hurta became the first Colorado female athlete to win the mile since Emma Coburn in 2013. She has also won the distance medley relay in 2017, along with contributing to a national cross country team championship in 2018. Hurta also improved to the No. 18 collegiate performer in history on all indoor tracks.
