I'm glad to see AJ Acosta and Andy Wheating back in a race together. This was a common site in Andy's last two years at Oregon, culminating in a 3:51 and 3:53 Mile last year for Andy and AJ respectively. They hit the road together and traveled throughout Europe last summer producing some great races on the running circuit. But after Andy's graduation AJ never seemed to be completely back into it this year, until now. Both of them had always run very similar tactics coming up as youngsters. Like Coach Lanana used to tell Andy, "Stay close and have a great last 100 meters!" Both, and Centrowicz too, are capable of blazing kicks. I just hope AJ and Matt too can pair up with Andy at OTC and just take on the world next year.
