2 (2). Noah Affolder, senior, Carlisle (Pennsylvania): He ran a course record 14:12 to win the (3 mile) McQuaid Invitational.

3 (9). Brodey Hasty, junior, Brentwood (Tennessee): He got a narrow win over DJ Principe at Great American.

4 (3). David Principe Jr, senior, La Salle (Rhode Island): He ran a course record time at Bowdoin Park before a close loss to Hasty at Great American.

5 (13). Seth Hirsch, senior, Millard West (Nebraska): He ran sub-15 at the Millard West Invitational.

6 (8). Cooper Teare, senior, St. Joseph Notre Dame (California): He won impressively at the Stanford Invitational.

7 (14). Joe Benson, senior, Timpanogos (Utah): He won at the Nike Portland XC and is tuning up for state.

8 (5). Noah Jacobs, senior, Corunna (Michigan): He continues to win races in Michigan.

9 (10). Reed Brown, senior, Southlake Carroll (Texas): He got a big win at the Chile Pepper Festival in Arkansas.

10 (4). Michael Vernau, senior, Davis Sr (California): He placed second to Teare at Stanford.

11 (6). Sam Worley, senior, Comal Canyon (Texas): He won the McNeil Invitational.

12 (7). Luis Grijalva, senior, Armijo (California): The Woodbridge winner has been laying low for a couple of weeks.

13 (11). Finn Gessner, senior, Madison La Follette (Wisconsin): He remains undefeated in Wisconsin.

14 (15). Derick Peters, junior, West Central (South Dakota): He ran sub-15 for 5K at the Lennox Invitational on Sept. 30.

15 (29). Tibebu Proctor, senior, Northwest School (Washington): He was second to Benson at Nike Portland XC.

16 (25). Daniel Bernal, senior El Paso Eastwood (Texas): He won the Desert Twilight in Arizona.

17 (26). Matt Grossman, senior, Millburn (New Jersey): He won the Shore Coaches Invitational.

18 (12). Callum Bolger, senior, San Luis Obispo (California): He placed third at Stanford.

19 (26). Alex Maier, sophomore, Flower Mound (Texas): He was right behind Worley at the McNeil Invitational.

20 (NR). Charlie Kern, junior, York (Illinois). He came up with big wins at Palatine and Peoria.

21 (19). McKay Johns, senior, American Fork (Utah): He usually isn't far behind Clinger.

22 (NR). Taylor Vroon, senior, Brentwood (Tennessee): He was third at Great American.

23 (20). Curtis Eckstein, senior, Oldenburg Academy (Indiana): He is still unbeaten in Indiana.

24 (18). Josh Schumacher, junior, Jesuit (Oregon): He has been lying low but perhaps will come out at Hole In The Wall in Washington.

25 (NR). Talon Hull, senior Weber (Utah): He won the Bob Firman Invitational.

26 (21). Ahmed Muhumed, senior, West Salem (Oregon): He was third at the Nike Portland XC.

27 (27). Connor Lane, senior, Cardinal Gibbons (North Carolina): He was fourth at Great American.

28 (NR). Nathan Henderson, senior, J.P. McCaskey (Pennsylvania): He was second at the Carlisle Invitational behind Affolder.

29 (16). Patrick Bose, senior, Johnston (Iowa): He was second at Roy Griak.

30 (23). Noah Carey, senior, Guilderland (New York): Won at the Ocean State Invitational.
