Tyrese Cooper runs big early season triple in Florida By Doug Binder, DyeStat Editor It might be the first few weeks of outdoor track in a few warm-weather states, but Miami Norland junior Tyrese Cooper is already lighting up tracks in Florida. Cooper won three events Saturday at the Spartan Invitational at Southridge High, claiming the 100 meters in 10.47, the 200 in 20.81 and the 400 in 46.78. RESULTS A week ago, at the Louie Bing Invitational, Cooper gave the 800 a try and ran 1:57.93. Cooper has already traveled to Virginia and New Mexico for indoor meets and appears to be gearing up for a strong performance at New Balance Nationals Indoor, March 9-12 at The Armory in New York.
