Andre De Grasse To Race Invitational 100 Meters at Drake Relays

Andre De Grasse leads the invitational 100-meter field at the 2018 Drake Relays, according to an event press release.

De Grasse, the 2016 Olympic bronze medalist in the 100, as well as silver medalist at 200 meters and bronze medalist in the 4x100 relay for Canada. He owns a personal best of 9.91, but has run a heavily wind-aided 9.69.

Athletes that will line up against De Grasse include Brandon Carnes, Isiah Young, Jarrion Lawson, Mike Rodgers, BeeJay Lee, Jak Ali Harvey and Kemar Hyman.

Six of the eight athletes have personal bests under 10 seconds.

The Drake Relays are April 25-28 in Des Moines, Iowa.
