Christian Coleman is Slow to Recover from Hamstring Injury

By Adam Kopet

Christian Coleman has withdrawn from the Paris and Lausanne Diamond League meetings according to the CBC.

Coleman has not raced since the Rome Diamond League meeting at the end of May due to an injured hamstring. He first suffered the injury earlier in the season, forcing him to miss his Diamond League debut in Shanghai.

The original plan had Coleman racing in Oslo and Stockholm over 200 meters. But after those scratches, Coleman will now miss the USATF Outdoor Championships and the Paris and Lausanne Diamond League races.

Coleman is now expected to compete in the 100 meters at the Rabat Diamond League meeting on July 13 in Morocco. He has reportedly begun training again, but he is being cautious in his return to action.
