Sean McGorty Signs with Nike and Joins the Bowerman Track Club

Sean McGorty announced on social media Thursday night that he has signed with Nike and joined the Bowerman Track Club.

McGorty won the 5,000 meters at the 2018 NCAA Division 1 Outdoor Championships in his final season at Stanford. He also finished runner-up in the 5,000 at the 2016 NCAA Division 1 Outdoor Championships and in the 3,000 at the 2016 NCAA Division 1 Indoor Championships.

Additionally, McGorty finished seventh at the 2015 NCAA Division Cross Country Championships.

Shortly after McGorty's NCAA win in June, he signed with Kimbia Athletics, but it is now two months later that he has officially signed with Nike and the Bowerman Track Club.
