Wisconsin, South Florida Among Schools Headed To Chicago's Gately Center By Doug Binder, DyeStat Editor John Nepolitan photo Wisconsin standout Adam Spencer sits comfortably at eighth on the NCAA qualifying list in the 3,000 meters. But his best mile time of 3:58.04, which sounds pretty good, is currently 56th on the descending order list. Spencer can move up this weekend at Wisconsin's Windy City Invitaitonal at the Gately Center in Chicago. The Australian, who was the NCAA Indoor Championships runner-up in the mile in 2024, probably needs to run faster than 3:54 to ensure a spot at the national championships.
