As reported previously, the man who hit Bosse has been charged as well. Now, however, Bosse has been charged by French authorities for provoking the confrontation, according to France24. Bosse reportedly threw a beer can at the attacker, provoking the eventual assault. He has been charged for violence or threat of violence with a weapon. In this case, the weapon is the beer can. It appears to be a lesser charge, as no significant damage was done, according to the report. At the time of the altercation, Bosse was beginning a three-day celebration of his gold medal win at the 2017 IAAF World Outdoor Championships. More news |
