Pros Lead This Week's Performance of the Week List

This week we saw some top-notch competition from around the globe. Several performances now lead the world and others are national leaders. Outside of a few college meets, most collegians were off this week, leaving space to highlight top performers on the high school and professional level. View the choices and vote for the DyeStat Performance of the Week!

Note: Voting closes at the end of the day Monday and we'll announce this week's winner Tuesday.

Kenny Bednarek: The Indian Hills Community College freshman won the 200 and 400 meters at the NJCAA Division 1 Outdoor Championships, running 19.82 and 44.73, respectively. He also ran a wind-aided 19.49 in the 200-meter prelims, the fastest wind-aided time ever produced in the world. (Results).

Ryan Crouser: The thrower continued his streak of dominance this season, winning the shot put at the Tucson Elite Classic with a mark of 74-4.50 (22.67m). (Results).

Chase Ealey: The thrower defeated the reigning world champion in the shot put at the Shanghai Diamond League meeting with a mark of 64-3 (19.58m). (Results).

Ty Hampton: The high school senior from North Bend OR threw a US#1 221-4 (67.46m) to win the javelin at the 5A Midwestern League District Championships. (Results).

Keni Harrison: The hurdler ran a world-leading 12.47 in the 100-meter hurdles at the Meeting de la Grande Caraibe in Guadeloupe. (Results).

Yomif Kejelcha: The distance runner from Ethiopia won what was essentially a rematch of the last year's Diamond League final in the 5,000 meters, running a world-leading 13:04.16 at the Shanghai Diamond League meeting. (Results).

Noah Lyles: The sprinter out leaned Christian Coleman in the 100 meters at the Shanghai Diamond League meeting with both runners being timed in a world-leading 9.86. (Results).

Arria Minor: The high school senior from Denver East CO ran US#2 times in the 100 and 200 meters, 11.31 and 23.10 respectively, at the Colorado State Meet. (Results).

Rachel Schneider: The distance runner ran a world-leading 15:06.71 for 5,000 meters at the USATF Distance Classic. Her time meets the qualifying standards for both the IAAF World Outdoor Championships and the 2020 Olympic Games. (Results).
