World Record Leads This Week's Performance of the Week List

The first Performance of the Week list of 2020 brings us the first world record of the year. We also saw top indoor track and field performances at the high school and collegiate levels. View the choices and vote for the DyeStat Performance of the Week!

Note: Voting closes at the end of the day Monday and we'll announce this week's winner Tuesday.

Brynn Brown: The high school junior from Denton Guyer TX won the 2 mile at the Texas A&M High School Classic in 10:08.11, good for 15th on the prep all-time performer list. (Results).

Sheila Chepkirui: The distance runner from Kenya won the 10K Valencia Ibercaja in 29:46, good for second on the all-time list. (Results).

Tamara Clark: The Alabama junior won the 300 meters at the UAB Blazer Indoor Invitational in 36.56, good for third on the collegiate all-time performer list. (Results).

Kayla Davis: The high school sophomore who competes for Run U Xpress in North Carolina won the 300 meters at the Omega Sports High School Invitational in a JDL Fast Track facility record 37.70, good for fifth on the prep all-time performer list. (Results). Watch the race.

Kasaun James: The Florida State senior won the 300 meters at the Clemson Orange & Purple Elite in 32.85, good for eighth on the collegiate all-time performer list. (Results).

Rhonex Kipruto: The distance runner from Kenya broke the world record for the road 5K and 10K at the 10K Valencia Ibercaja, running 13:18 at the 5K split and finishing in 26:24. (Results).

Hellen Obiri: The distance runner from Kenya won the Cross Internacional Juan Muguerza by six seconds, running 25:10 for 7.6K. (Results).

Laila Owens: The high school senior from Fort Bend Bush TX won the 200 meters at the Texas A&M High School Invitational in 23.55, equal to 14th on the prep all-time performer list. (Results).

Briana Williams: The high school senior from Northeast (Oakland Park) FL finished second in the 60 meters at the Clemson Orange & Purple Elite in 7.25, equal to fifth on the prep all-time performer list. (Results).

Tadese Worku: The 17-year-old distance runner from Ethiopia won the Cross Internacional Juan Muguerza by 24 seconds, running 31:39 for 10.8K. (Results).
