High School Records Lead This Week's Performance of the Week List

This week we saw high school and collegiate records in several events in meets around the country. The USATF Cross Country Championships took place in San Diego, providing a change of pace with the indoor track and field season now well underway. View the choices and vote for the DyeStat Performance of the Week!

Note: Voting closes at the end of the day Monday and we'll announce this week's winner Tuesday.

Tamari Davis: The high school junior from East Ridge FL bettered the world U-18 record and equaled the high school record in the 60 meters, running 7.19 seconds. (Results).

Corey Gorgas: The NAU freshman won the junior men's race at the USATF Cross Country Championships by 37 seconds, running 25:45 for 8K. (Results). Watch the race.

Olivia Gruver: The Washington senior won the pole vault at the Washington Indoor Preview with a clearance of 15-3.50 (4.66m), equal to the fourth best collegiate performance of all-time. (Results). Watch her jump.

Tonea Marshall: The LSU senior won the 60-meter hurdles at the Corky Classic in 7.86, ranking her third on the collegiate all-time performer list. (Results).

Athing Mu: The high school senior to runs for the Trenton Track Club in New Jersey won the 500 and 300 meters at the VA Showcase. She broke the high school record for the 500 in 1:10.22 and now ranks third on the prep all-time performer list for the 300 in 37.36. (Results).

Jacory Patterson: The Virginia Tech sophomore broke the collegiate record for 300 meters at the Virginia Tech Indoor Invitational, running 32.28. (Results).

Brooke Rauber: The high school junior from Tully NY won the junior women's race at the USATF Cross Country Championships by 37 seconds, running 22:11 for 6K. (Results). Watch the race.

Justin Robinson: The high school senior from Hazelwood West MO won the 500 meters VA Showcase in 1:02.39, good for fifth on the prep all-time performer list. He also finished second in the 300 meters in 32.87. (Results).

Natosha Rogers: The distance runner won the USATF Cross Country Championships by 22 seconds, running 35:45 for 10K. (Results). Watch the race.

Cameron Rose: The high school senior from Hickory Ridge NC won the 300 meters at the VA Showcase in 32.84, equal to second on the prep all-time list. (Results).

Anthony Rotich: The distance runner won the USATF Cross Country Championships by 22 seconds, running 30:36 for 10K. (Results). Watch the race.

Morgan Smalls: The high school senior from Panther Creek NC won the high jump and triple jump at the VA Showcase. She cleared 6-0 (1.82m) in the high jump and earned a mark of 42-10 (13.05m) in the triple jump. The latter ranks her eighth on the prep all-time performer list. (Results).

Darryl Sullivan: The Tennessee senior won the high jump at the Virginia Tech Indoor Invitational by clearing 7-7.75 (2.33m), ranking him fourth on the collegiate all-time list. (Results).
