Distance Runners Lead This Week's Performance of the Week List

We saw top performances from across the country and around the world this week, including a collegiate record, an African record and a British record. The Washington Indoor Invitational led the way with four performances on this week's list. View the choices and vote for the DyeStat Performance of the Week!

BYU Women: The quartet of Anna Camp-Bennett, Alena Ellsworth, Lauren Ellsworth and Whittni Orton won the distance medley relay at the Washington Indoor Invitational in 10:53.95, the fastest collegiate time ever run on an oversized indoor track. (Results). Watch the race.

Cruz Culpepper: The high school senior from Niwot CO ran 4:01.66 for the mile at the Washington Indoor Invitational, ranking him fifth on the prep all-time performer list. (Results). Watch the race.

Trey Cunningham: The Florida State junior won the 60-meter hurdles at the Texas Tech Indoor Invitational in 7.52, placing him equal to eighth on the collegiate all-time performer list. (Results).

Shelby Houlihan: The distance runner won the mile and 800 meters at the Washington Indoor Invitational running a personal best 4:23.68 in the mile and following that shortly afterward with a 2:01.82 800. (Results). Watch the mile and 800 meters.

Evan Jager: The distance runner returned to racing after an 18-month injury absence to win the mile at the Washington Indoor Invitational in 3:56.50. (Results). Watch the race.

Emily Lipari: The distance runner won the 5,000 meters at the Bruce Lehane Scarlet and White Invitational in a world-leading 15:07.44, ranking her eighth on the U.S. all-time performer list. (Results).

Oregon Men: The quartet of James West, Jacob Miller, Charlie Hunter and Cooper Teare broke the collegiate indoor record in the distance medley relay at the Razorback Invitational, running 9:24.52. (Results).

Leah Pasqualetti: The high school senior from Orchard Park NY broke the New York state indoor pole vault record at the Section VI Indoor Track & Field Groundhog Classic with a clearance of 14-3 (4.34m), ranking her fifth on the prep all-time performer list. (Results). Watch the vault.

Jemma Reekie: The middle-distance runner from Great Britain won the 800 meters at the 4J Studios Championships in a British record 1:57.91, good for 11th on the all-time performer list and the fastest time run since 2006. (Results).

Randolph Ross: The North Carolina A&T freshman won the 400 meters at the Texas Tech Indoor Invitational in 45.44, ranking him fourth on the World U-20 all-time performer list. (Results).

Juliette Whittaker: The high school sophomore from Mt. de Sales MD won the 1,000 meters at the Private Schools Invitational in 2:45.49, ranking her sixth on the prep all-time performer list. (Results).

Hugues-Fabrice Zango: The jumper from Burkina Faso won the triple jump at the Indoor Meeting de Paris with a leap of 58-3.75 (17.7m), breaking the African record and ranking him equal to fourth on the all-time performer list. (Results).
