NSAF-NBNI All-American Relay teams honoredby Steve Underwood
We have added six All-American team choices each for the boys and girls 4x200, 4x400 and 4x800 relays, choosing these relays because they are the most frequently contested across the country and in major invitationals. As we mentioned with the individual All-Americans, these choices are based on teams registered for the Championship division at NBNI for each respective event and chosen based on performances during the season. They are listed below in alpha order by NBNI registered club name and city, state. We will be sending All-American certificates and T-shirts to individuals on each of the teams named below. Each team will receive an email (the email address used for each team's registration). EACH team member MUST go to this LINK (https://forms.gle/TDArZHrHsg8rwKCK7) to fill out the 2020 NBNI All American Relay Teams form to get their All-American certificate emailed to them and their shirt with correct size sent to them. And you don't have to wait until the email comes. You can do it NOW. Again, EACH All-American team relay member MUST fill out this form to get their certificate and T-shirt! https://forms.gle/TDArZHrHsg8rwKCK7. Any team on the lists below who do not receive their email should email us at [email protected]. The top 2020 indoor teams for the less frequently contested sprint medley and distance medley relays have been recognized in previously published lists (also posted here). Numbers for 4x1 Mile, Mixed Relay and 4x100 are not significant enough to merit inclusion. In the SMR and DMR, we allow for composite entries and some teams either don’t have the opportunity to run these relays and/or planned not to because they knew they could qualify with the composite. This recognition and these certificates and T-shirts honor athlete efforts to qualify for and compete in NBNI, which we unfortunately had to cancel. We hope it they will stay motivated for when competition resumes. As of now, we are still hoping to be able to host New Balance Nationals Outdoor June 18-21, or possibly sometime in July pending our nation’s recovery from the impact of COVID-19. In fact, registration has opened today for NBNO. NBNO Registration | NBNO Guidelines Congratulations to these All-Americans and we encourage everyone to stay safe and healthy.
