Christian Coleman revealed Tuesday that he has been fighting a new whereabouts violation and that if he can't get it reversed, it could cost him a chance to compete at the 2021 Olympics.

Coleman tweeted his side of the story about an alleged missed test Dec. 9.

Coleman, who had already been publicly embarrassed for whereabouts violations last summer, which the Athletics Integrity Unit calls a doping violation if there are three missed tests in a 12-month period.

Coleman said the drug tester didn't make an effort to call or notify him that they were coming to his house while he was out Christmas shopping. He took another test two days later.

"I was more than ready and available for testing and I had received a phone call I could've taken the drug test and carried on with my night," he wrote in the post.

Coleman won the 100-meter title at the World Athletics Championships last fall, running a lifetime-best 9.76 seconds to become the sixth-fastest man in history.
