Foot Locker Announces Cancellation Due To COVID-19

Both national championship high school cross country events are now officially canceled. 

Foot Locker made the announcement Friday morning via Twitter that it would not be able to hold its regional and national championship meets due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.

The news is not a surprise, given the challenges of staging large sporting events this year. 

Foot Locker annually flies the top 40 boys and girls qualifiers for a weekend trip to San Diego, with lodging at the historic Hotel Del Coronado and championship race at Balboa Park.
