Gorriaran Annouces College Choice Ahead Of Millrose Games By Doug Binder, DyeStat Editor Moses Brown RI senior Sophia Gorriaran held onto her college choice for a couple of months before telling the world Friday that she had chosen Harvard. The middle-distance standout, who competed at the 2021 U.S. Olympic Trials, had a busy Friday. First she competed at the BU David Hemery Valentine Invitational and then jumped in a car and rode with her parents to New York City for the announcement at The Armory. Gorriaran ran 2:01.16 for a U.S.-leading time and will compete in the 600 meters against professional athletes Saturday.
