On July 23, the “800 Project” will attempt to break an unofficial World Under-20 all-time mark in the 4x800-meter relay at Indiana Wesleyan University. The "800 Project," coached by Pike's Courtney Bishop, features three runners from Indiana, one from Massachusetts and one alternate from Indiana. The runners are:

- Crown Point IN and Indiana University rising freshman Maddie Russin

- Roncalli IN and Indiana University rising freshman Emily Sonderman  

- Wheeler IN rising senior Amaya Turner

- Tewksbury Memorial MA rising senior Makayla Paige

- West Lafayette IN rising junior Alli Steffey (alternate) 

The fastest World U-20 4x800 relay of 8:37.71 was established by Jamaica’s Vere Tech at the Penn Relays on April 27, 1991.
