Elise Cranny, representing Bowerman Track Club, took second Saturday in the women's 1,500 meters in 4:06.23 at the Sound Running Invite in Orange County, Calif. Cranny completed a three-meet stretch in 30 days, clocking 8:40.33 in the outdoor 3,000 meters in Arizona and 30:47.42 in the 10,000 meters in Southern California. It marked her first 1,500 since July 21 at the third Bowerman summer intrasquad meet in Oregon.
