Kentucky junior Abby Steiner won the women's 200-meter title in 22.38 seconds to equal the collegiate indoor record set in 2018 by Harvard's Gabby Thomas, helping the Wildcats place 13th overall with 17 points at the NCAA Division 1 Indoor Championships at Randal Tyson Track Center in Fayetteville, Ark. Steiner also equaled the No. 2 indoor time by an American and matched the No. 5 competitor in global indoor history in the 200, in addition to producing a 51.75-second split on the second leg of the 4x400 relay that finished fifth in 3:30.28.
