At a meet Sunday in Clermont-Ferrand, France, Morris vaulted to a world number three mark of 15 feet, 5.25 inches (4.71m). Clermont-Ferrand VaultMorris started her week of competition with another big win, this one coming in Dusseldorf, Germany, earning the second-best mark in the world this season with a vault of 15-5.75 (4.72m). Morris takes on reigning Olympic gold medalist Katerina Stefanidi of Greece in New York City this next weekend in a rematch of the top two pole vault performers at the Olympic Games this past summer in Rio.
