They won with 125 points, besting Westfield NJ that scored 58 points. According to USA Today, Union Catholic broke five meet records on its way to victory. But it was the 4x200 relay performance that garnered the most attention. The quartet of Sydney McLaughlin, Khamil Evans, Amaya Chadwick and Sydney Tucker ran 1:37.53 to break the New Jersey state record. Franklin NJ held the old record at 1:37.77 from 2003. More news |
