Chicago Marathon Performances Lead This Week's Performance of the Week List

The eyes on the world were on the city of Chicago for the Bank of America Chicago Marathon on Sunday. It was a big day for the Americans. In the high school ranks, the Great American Cross Country Invitational and the Clovis Invitational provided four performances on this week's list. View the choices and vote for this week's DyeStat Performance of the Week!

Note: Voting closes at the end of the day Monday and we'll announce this week's winner Tuesday.

Kelsey Chmiel: The high school junior from Saratoga Springs NY won the Race of Champions at the Great American Cross Country Invitational by 36 seconds, running 16:50 for 5k.

Maddy Denner: The high school senior from Oak Ridge CA won the championship race at the Clovis Invitational by seven seconds, running 16:58 for 5k and becoming only the ninth female to break 17 minutes at Woodward Park in Fresno, Calif.

Tirunesh Dibaba: The three-time Olympic champion from Ethiopia won the Bank of America Chicago Marathon by almost two minutes, running 2:18:31.

Katelynne Hart: The high school sophomore from Glenbard West IL won the Naperville Twilight Invitational by 22 seconds, running 16:15 for 3 miles.

Jordan Hasay: The Nike Oregon Project marathoner finished third at the Bank of America Chicago Marathon in 2:20:57. That makes her the #2 American all-time in the marathon.

Justin Hazell: The high school senior from El Camino Real CA won the championship race at the Clovis Invitational in a close finish, running 15:01 for 5k to set the all-time L.A. City Section record at Woodward Park in Fresno, Calif.

Dalton Hengst: The high school senior from McDonogh MD won the Race of Champions at the Great American Cross Country Invitational in a close finish, running 14:57 for 5k.

Claudia Lane: The high school junior from Malibu CA won the Twilight Invitational by 2:44, running 16:32 for 3 miles in her season debut, breaking the Lake Casitas course record of 16:37 set in 2013 by Simi Valley CA graduate Sarah Baxter.

Daniel Maton: The high school junior from Camas WA won the top division of the Nike - Hole in the Wall Invitational in a close finish, running 15:11 for 5k.

Galen Rupp: The three-time Olympian won the Bank of America Chicago Marathon by 28 seconds in 2:09:20. He is the first American to win the men's race in Chicago since 2002.

Katelyn Tuohy: The high school sophomore from North Rockland NY won the Grout Run Invitational by 1:36, running 14:06 for 2.75 miles.
