Jenny Simpson Donates 200 Pairs of Shoes to Students at Pennock Elementary in Brighton, Colorado

Jenny Simpson has donated 200 pairs of New Balance shoes to kids in Colorado, according to the Denver CBS affiliate.

The shoes went to students at Pennock Elementary in Brighton. The donation is to help kids lead active and healthy lifestyles.

Simpson is a three-time Olympian. She captured a bronze medal in the 1,500 meters at the 2016 Olympics in Rio. She also secured a silver medal in the 1,500 at the 2017 IAAF World Outdoor Championships. Overall, she has earned four medals at global championships, including 1,500-meter gold at the 2011 IAAF World Outdoor Championships.
