U-20 Performances Lead This Week's Performance of the Week ListThe high school and college seasons are over, but some of the best young athletes were in action this week at the USATF U-20 Championships. So too were some of the world's top pros, competing at the Decastar and Ostrava Golden Spike meets in Europe. View the choices and vote for the DyeStat Performance of the Week! Matthew Boling: The high school senior from Houston Strake Jesuit TX won the 100 and 200 meters at the USATF U-20 Championships in 10.15 and 20.36, respectively. He also finished third in the long jump with a leap of 25-3.50 (7.71m). (Results). Watch his 100-meter race, 200-meter race and best long jump. Tai Brown: The Kentucky freshman won and equaled the meet record in the 110-meter hurdles at the USATF U-20 Championships, running 13.21. (Results). Watch the race. Max Burgin: The 17-year-old middle distance runner from Great Britain ran 1:45.38 for 800 meters at the England Athletics U-20 Championships, ranking him seventh on the world U-18 all-time performer list. (Results). Watch the race. Fancy Chemutai: The distance runner from Kenya broke the course record at the B.A.A. 10K, running 30:36 and winning by 28 seconds. (Results). Bryanna Craig: The high school freshman from Millville Senior NJ broke her own national freshman class record in the heptathlon with a score of 5,094 points, finishing fourth at the USATF U-20 Championships. (Results). Watch the 800-meter race. Pierce LePage: The athlete from Canada won the Decastar multi-event competition by 109 points, scoring 8,453 points. (Results). Jamar Marshall: The high school junior from St. Mary's CA broke the national junior class record in the 110-meter hurdles and elevated to the No. 2 all-time prep performer with his third-place finish at the USATF U-20 Championships, running 13.22. Shaunae Miller-Uibo: The sprinter from The Bahamas smashed the world best for 300 meters at the Ostrava Golden Spike, taking nearly a second off the previous best with her 34.41. (Results). Nafissatou Thiam: The athlete from Belgium won the Decastar heptathlon with a score of 6,819 points. She cleared an all-time heptathlon best 6-7.50 (2.02m) in the high jump on the first day. Briana Williams: The high school junior from Northeast (Oakland Park) FL broke the high school and World U-18 records in the 100 meters with her third-place 10.94 performance at the Jamaican National Championships.
