Washington's Amanda Moll, who became the first collegiate woman in history to clear 16 feet (4.88m) in the pole vault, joins DyeStat's Keenan Gray to talk about her record-breaking moment from this past Saturday on Feb. 15 in New Mexico at the Don Kirby Elite Invitational.

Moll talks about the significance of breaking a new barrier and setting the bar even higher for female pole vaulters to chase after at the collegiate level, what it meant to her from an individual and team perspective and how she was able to overcome some mental challenges along the way to set herself up to break the collegiate record, once held by Demi Payne of Stephen F. Austin at 15-7 (4.75m).

Moll became the fourth American woman to clear 16 feet in pole vault, joining American record holder Jenn Suhr, Sandi Morris and Katie Moon.
