Katerina Stefanidi and Katie Nageotte to Compete at Indoor Meeting KarlsruhePublished by
Women's Pole Vault Field Coming Together for Indoor Meeting Karlsruhe in GermanyBy Adam Kopet The women's pole vault field Feb. 2 for the Indoor Meeting Karlsruhe in Germany is set to include the reigning IAAF World Outdoor champion Katerina Stefanidi of Greece, according to an IAAF preview. This will be Stefanidi's first time competing in Karlsruhe, one of the stops on the IAAF World Indoor Tour. Also competing will be Germany's Lisa Ryzih, the 2017 Karlsruhe pole vault winner. She missed most of 2018 with injury. American vaulter Katie Nageotte is also scheduled to compete in Karlsruhe.
Nageotte won the 2018 USATF Indoor Championships with a personal-best clearance of 16-1.25 (4.91m). She followed that with a fifth-place finish at the 2018 IAAF World Indoor Championships. More news |
