Nike Cross Virtual (NXV) - Week #1 Recap

Stumptown Racing XC Club (OR) boys, Run Brave XC Club (ID) girls off to a strong start
Nike Cross Virtual (NXV) is off and running! The first week of NXV is in the books, and with runners and teams competing from coast-to-coast, team and individual competition is already fierce.
Senior Creed Thompson leads Skyridge XC Club sitting third overall individually in 15:03, just behind NXV Week #1 leader Grahm Tuohy-Gaydos (Sr., Racin’ Rams XC Club, CO) in 14:57 and Hunter Jones (So., Benzie Central XC Club, MI) in 15:00.
On the girls side, Run Brave XC Club (ID) dominated week #1 with a mere 34 points, with three runners in the top seven nationally, led by the super freshmen pairing of Samantha Smith and Allie Bruce, who are 3-4 individually.
Angelina Perez (Jr., Lakeland Regional XC Club, NJ) leads the national individual leaderboard with a tremendous opening effort of 16:58. Jenna Mulhern (Jr., West Chester XC Club, PA) sits second nationally in 17:25.
