Grant Fisher, representing Bowerman Track Club, won the men's 5,000 meters Saturday in a personal-best 13:02.53 at the Sound Running Invite in Orange County, Calif. Fisher, who ascended to the No. 13 all-time outdoor American performer, completed a stretch of three meets in 30 days with a 7:37.21 effort in the outdoor 3,000 in Arizona, a 27:11.29 performance in the 10,000 and a nine-second improvement in the 5,000, both in Southern California.
