Here are the nominees for this week's top performance in cross country. You can vote for up to two. Thanks for your participation!

 

Katie Rainsberger, Air Academy CO: The senior ran 17:05 for 5,000 meters at altitude in the Coronado Cougar Classic at Monument Valley Park in Colorado Springs. Her winning margin was 2:14.

Fiona O'Keeffe, Davis Sr CA: She ran the fastest time ever on the current Stanford Invitational layout (since 2008), breaking her own record with 16:32.1.

Phillip Rocha, Arcadia CA: He broke the course record at the Stanford Invitational with 14:32.5 for 5K.

Ember Stratton, Sunset OR: She won the Nike Portland XC meet at Portland Meadows with 17:41.6 for 5,000 meters.

Grace Ping, Cotter MN: The 12-year-old seventh grader won the gold race at the Roy Griak Invitational with 18:12.

Lainey Studebaker, Centerville OH: She ran 17:33.4 for 5K at the Centerville Saturday Night Lights.

Jake Brophy, Central Bucks East PA: He ran 15:53 to win at the PIAA Foundation on the Parkview course in Hershey. 

Joe Dragon, High Point NJ: He ran 15:34, tying the fourth fastest time ever at Garrett Mountain Park, in the Passaic Coaches Invitational.

Paul Roberts, Lyons CO: He broke the all-time course record at Rim Rock Farm in Kansas with his victory in 15:10.9.

Garek Bielaczyc, SLC East UT: He dominated the Roy Griak Invitational boys gold race with 15:36.1.

Eduardo Herrera, Madera South CA: He ran 15:06.7 for an impressive win at the Nike Portland XC meet.

Courtney Wayment, Davis UT: She was something of a surprise winner at the Bob Firman Invitational, taking the victory in 17:56.4.

Alek Parsons, Ogden UT: He was the top finisher at Bob Firman, with a winning time of 15:16.7.

David Principe Jr, La Salle RI: He ran 15:45 for the 13th fastest time ever on the hilly Bowdoin Park course in New York.

Maegan Doody, Oyster River NH: She won the Manchester Invitational 5K with 17:41 for a 38-second victory at Derryfield Park, breaking Erin Sullivan's meet record and running the fastest time by New Hampshire girl at Derryfield.
