1 (1). Katelyn Tuohy, senior, North Rockland NY: Back-to-back victories at Great American and Manhattan affirm her spot at the top of the list. 

2 (2). Sydney Masciarelli, junior, Marianapolis Prep CT: She is still dominating tiny prep school meets. 

3 (3). Katelynne Hart, senior, Glenbard West IL: She won the Naperville Twilight Invitational for the fourth year in a row. 

4 (4). Marlee Starliper, senior, Northern PA: The district meet is approaching in nine days.

5 (14). Claire Walters, senior, Fayetteville-Manlius NY: Only Tuohy has run faster at Manhattan. 

6 (9). Zofia Dudek, senior, Ann Arbor Pioneer MI: She ran 16:46 at Willow Metropark, a time that would have put her 13th in the boys race.

7 (6). Sydney Thorvaldson, junior, Rawlins WY: The Wyoming state meet is in nine days. 

8 (17). Corie Smith, senior, Buchanan CA: She ran terrific at Clovis, becoming the No. 4 all-time performer at Woodward Park with 16:53.9 effort.

9 (8). Brooke Rauber, junior, Tully NY: She placed a strong third at Manhattan.

10 (7). Kate Wiser, junior, Pomperaug CT: She had the SWC championship on Thursday.

11 (13). Taylor Ewert, senior, Beavercreek OH: The Arkansas signee won the Greater Western Ohio Conference title for the second year in a row.

12 (10). Jenna Hutchins, sophomore, Science Hill TN: She placed second at Great American.

13 (11). Lexy Halladay, senior, Mountain View ID: Her district meet is this weekend.

14 (12). Fiona Max, senior, Summit OR: She will get another big test at the Warner Pacific XC Classic on Saturday.   

15 (15). Abby VanderKooi, sophomore, Muskegon Western Michigan Christian MI: She has raced 10 times and won all 10.  

16 (NR). Alexandra Klos, sophomore, Vista Del Lago CA: Newcomer was only three seconds behind Smith at Clovis, matching the No. 6 all-time performance with 16:57 at Woodward Park.

17 (19). Lauren Ping, freshman, Desert Vista AZ: She has had a couple of weeks to train as Mt. SAC looms on the schedule Oct. 26.

18 (20). Riley Stewart, sophomore, Cherry Creek CO: She won the Steve Lohman Invitational and then rested at the Centennial League Final.

19 (5). Brynn Brown, junior, Denton Guyer TX: A stress fracture has put the remainder of her season in jeopardy, although she may return in the postseason.

20 (24). Carly McNatt, freshman, IMG Academy FL: She won the Wharton Invitational by nearly two minutes.

21 (21). Tatum David, freshman, Richland County (Olney) IL: She is undefeated through nine races this fall.

22 (27). Charlotte Bednar, sophomore, Lawrenceville School NJ: She finished fourth at the Manhattan Invitational, setting New Jersey record by running 14:01.4.

23 (NR). Kate Peters, freshman, Lincoln OR: She won the Hole In The Wall Invitational in Washington in 16:58.7.

24 (22). Sofie Matson, junior, Falmouth ME: She ran 17:40 at the Windham Meet and won by almost two minutes.

25 (25). Kelsey Harrington, senior, Virginia VA: She won the Hagan Stone Invitational. 

26 (29). Bethany Graham, senior, John Champe VA: She placed third at Great American.

27 (NR). Karrie Baloga, freshman, Cornwall Central NY: She won the Paul Short Run in 16:59.7. 

28 (NR). Ava Parekh, sophomore, Chicago Latin IL: She was just seven seconds behind Hart at the Naperville Twilight Invitational.

29 (NR). Harper McClain, junior, St. Helena CA: She finished third at the Clovis Invitational. 

30 (NR). Anna Martin, senior, Lehi UT: She won the Utah Region 7 by running 16:58 for three miles.

Surprised not to see North Hunterdon's (NJ) Chloe Gonzalez on this list, or at least Watchlist. Fastest time on Holmdel at Shore Coaches, 17:45 (anyone who knows this course, it is not a pancake, the opposite), tied for 6th all time.
