Sprinters Dominate This Week's Performance of the Week List

It was another big weekend on the indoor track and field circuit with the NCAA Division 1 Indoor Championships and New Balance Nationals Indoor both taking place. There were multiple high school, collegiate, American and world records broken. View the choices and vote for this week's DyeStat Performance of the Week!

Note: Voting closes at the end of the day Monday and we'll announce this week's winner Tuesday.

Bullis School MD Girls: The girls from Bullis School MD broke two high school records at New Balance Nationals Indoor. The quartet of Shaniya Hall, Leah Phillips, Ashley Seymour and Masai Russell ran 1:34.75 in the 4x200 relay. The quartet of Lauryn Harris, Russell, Phillips and Cierra Pyles ran 30.44 in the 4x55 shuttle hurdles relay.

Tamari Davis: The high school freshman from Gainesville FL broke her own freshman class records in the 60 and 200 meters at New Balance Nationals Indoor. She ran 7.25 in the 60 meters and 23.24 in the 200-meter prelims to move to fifth on the all-time lists in both events.

Kendall Ellis: The USC senior broke the American and collegiate records for the indoor 400 meters at the NCAA Division 1 Indoor Championships, running 50.34 in the first section of the final.

Elijah Hall: The Houston senior broke the American and collegiate records for the indoor 200 meters at the NCAA Division 1 Indoor Championships, running 20.02. He also won the 60 meters in 6.52 seconds.

Aleia Hobbs: The LSU senior equaled the collegiate record in the 60 meters at the NCAA Division i Indoor Championships, running 7.07 seconds.

Loudoun Valley VA Boys: The quartet of Connor Wells, Jacob Hunter, Colton Bogucki and Samuel Affolder broke the high school indoor record in the 4xMile relay, running 17:01.82.

Sydney McLaughlin: The Kentucky freshman won her section of the 400 meters at the NCAA Division 1 Indoor Championships in a world U20 record of 50.36, but finished second overall. She also placed fourth in the 200 meters, running 22.80.

Michael Norman: The USC sophomore broke the world record for the indoor 400 meters at the NCAA Division 1 Indoor Championships, running 44.52, beating the 2005 record belonging to Kerron Clement by 0.05 seconds.

Anthony Schwartz: The American Heritage FL senior won the 60 meters at New Balance Nationals Indoor, competing indoors for the first time, running 6.59 seconds. That is good for second on the prep all-time list.

Gabby Thomas: The Harvard junior broke the collegiate record in the 200 meters at the NCAA Division 1 Indoor Championships, running 22.38. That mark also puts her second on the U.S. all-time list and equal to No. 5 in the world.

USC Men: The quartet of Zach Shinnick, Rai Benjamin, Ricky Morgan Jr. and Michael Norman ran a world all-time best 3:00.77 in the 4x400 relay at the NCAA Division 1 Indoor Championships, running a full second faster than Poland's world record. However, USC will not get the record, because the four relay team members are not all from the U.S. Therefore, the world record belongs to Texas A&M, which also ran under Poland's mark with a time of 3:01.39.

uggghhh I missed this I probably would have went with Gabby that was awesome and mainly because after all she did last year in the 1 and 2 there was no mention of her possibly being in it at allllllll NONE til she blasted that 20.66. I like Mike but was a little miffed he didn't run the 200 and help his team to overall championship victory. I am more than sure barring disaster he would have score more than 3points. all in all these performances for me bested the US champs and the worlds!!! They should have had them after...
