Outdoor Season Performances Highlight This Week's Performance of the Week List

The American track and field circuit has begun to move from indoor competition to outdoor competition. Despite still being early in the season, there have been some fantastic performances this week. However, the indoor season is not completely finished, as we saw men's and women's world records in the indoor marathon. View the choices and vote for this week's DyeStat Performance of the Week!

Note: Voting closes at the end of the day Monday and we'll announce this week's winner Tuesday.

Brooke Andersen: The Northern Arizona senior made her outdoor debut at the Baldy Castillo Invitational with a big hammer throw, elevating to No. 6 on the all-time collegiate list with a mark of 232-10 (70.98m).

Buze Diriba: The distance runner from Ethiopia won the United Airlines NYC Half in a sprint finish over Emily Sisson, finishing in 1:12:23.

Fayette County GA Boys: The quartet of Zachary FilmoreJaylan ColemanSeth Holloway and Trey Johnson won the 800-meter sprint medley relay at the Coaches Invitational in a No. 6 all-time prep mark of 1:29.60.

Tyson Jones: The high school senior from Desert Edge AZ broke the 70-foot barrier in the shot put at the Willie Williams Classic with a mark of 70-4.50 (21.45m).

LSU Women: The quartet of Mikiah Brisco, Kortnei Johnson, Cassondra Hall and Aleia Hobbs ran 42.65 to win the 4x100 relay at the Louisiana Classic.

Clarence Munyai: The 20-year-old South African sprinter ran a world lead and South African record 19.69 for 200 meters at the South  African Championships in Pretoria.

Alyssa Olin: The The North Dakota State senior improved 17 feet in the javelin to win at the Baldy Castillo Invitational, rising to No. 15 in Division 1 history with a mark of 191-6 (58.36m).

Malcolm Richards: The American distance runner broke the indoor marathon world record at the Armory NYC Indoor Marathon Presented by NYRR, running 2:19:1.9.

Lindsey Scherf: The American distance runner broke the indoor marathon world record at the Armory NYC Indoor Marathon Presented by NYRR, running 2:40:55.3.

Ben True: The American distance runner won the United Airlines NYC Half in his half marathon debut with a close finish over Dathan Ritzenhein, running 1:02:39.

Jamal Walton: The high school senior from Mirimar FL ran a US#1 45.42 to win the 400 meters at the Miami Hurricane Invitational.

Briana Williams: The high school sophomore from Northeast FL ran a world age-15 best in the 100 meters at the Bob Hayes High School Invitational, winning in 11.13, bettering Marion Jones' best of 11.17 from 1991.
