Nation Leading Marks Highlight This Week's Performance of the Week List

It was a busy weekend in the world of track and field. There was a collegiate record set, as well as many national-leading marks. In the high school ranks, the Arcadia Invitational once again impressed, bringing in top athletes from around the country and the world. View the choices and vote for this week's DyeStat Performance of the Week!

Note: Voting closes at the end of the day Monday and we'll announce this week's winner Tuesday.

Tim Duckworth: The Kentucky senior was the top collegian in the decathlon at the Spec Towns Invitational, scoring 8,145 points.

Maggie Ewen: The Arizona State senior broke her own collegiate record in the hammer throw with a mark of 244-6 (74.53m) at the Sun Angel Classic. She also gave collegiate-leading performances in the discus throw and shot put with marks of 201-0 (61.27m) and 63-0.75 (19.22m), respectively.

Great Oak CA Girls: Ericka BurgessArianna GriffithsFatima CortesTori Gaitan and Sandra Pflughoft teamed up to run national-leading marks in the 4x800 and 4x1,600 relays, crossing the line in 9:05.34 and 20:09.46, respectively.

Sondre Guttormsen: The high school senior from Davis Senior CA won the pole vault at the Arcadia Invitational with a meet and California state record 18-2.75 (5.55m) clearance. That also improves his Norwegian U20 record.

Katelynne Hart: The high school sophomore from Glendbard West IL ran away from the field in the 3,200 meters at the Arcadia Invitational, winning in a US#1 10:02.56.

Marcus Kemp: The high school senior from St. Mary's in Ontario, Canada, won the 3,200 meters at the Arcadia Invitational by 0.01 seconds, running 8:50.95.

Sterling Lester: The high school junior from Marietta GA broke the meet record in the heptathlon at the Arcadia Multis, scoring 5,288 points for US#15 all-time. She then repeated as Arcadia Invitational champion in the 400 meters, winning in 53.366 to Tierra Robinson-Jones' 53.370.

Joan Melly: The Kenyan distance runner made up for missing the IAAF World Half Marathon Championships by winning the Prague Half Marathon in 1:05:04, the fifth-fastest mark ever run.

Michael Norman: The USC sophomore ran 20.06 with a 1.4m/s headwind to win the 200 meters at the Sun Angel Classic.

Masai Russell: The high school senior from The Bullis School MD won the 300-meter hurdles at the Arcadia Invitational, running a national-leading 41.28. She also ran on her team's winning 4x100, 4x200 and 4x400 relays.

Gabby Thomas: The Harvard junior ran a collegiate-leading 22.32 to win the 200 meters at the Miami Hurricanes Alumni Invitational. That mark ranks her second in the world. She also won the 100 meters in a wind-aided 11.14.
